BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU AND SUBMISSION GRAPPLING

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (With Gi or No Gi) is a hybrid training of various grappling arts. It uses elements of Judo, Sambo, Japanese jiu-jitsu, Catch Wrestling and Greco-Roman Wrestling with the goal of controlling and eventually submitting your opponent. Submission Grappling is performed without a Gi or combat kimono, it is directly applicable to mixed martial arts training as well as any hand-to-hand combat situations.

Global Vale Tudo Approach to Submission Grappling

  • Control leading to submission

  • Attack with your whole body / defend your whole body

  • Attack any part of your opponent's body

  • Grappling without the Gi.

With no Gi to grab or hold, submission grappling can be faster and more explosive than Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with the Gi.

While physical attributes can be a plus, our system of submission grappling is built on technical knowledge and body control.

Brazilian jiu jitsu classes are taught by George Constantinou, a Black Belt in the sport recognized by the confederaço brasileira de jiu-jitsu professional Federation who has been training in the art for more than 14 years  at the Nowrich MMA Academy UK ,Renzo Gracie academy, Combat Base Jiu Jitsu UK, Nick Unander Bjj, Joao Marcos, and Joe Moreira.

Our Head instructor is the only professional Grappler in Cyprus Who competes in professional Grappling events all around the world.

The name of the BJJ academy  is called Black Hat BJJ Academy since the head coach is a cyber security expert. The academy will hack and analyze techniques that they don't work in competitions and real life fights ,as well techniques can only be executed in training from static and nonrealistic scenario moves.
