MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY

Hybrid Submission Grappling ( HSG) is a mixed martial arts system designed by experts in the field of Muay Thai, Judo, BJJ, Sambo and Boxing. We use striking techniques from boxing, kick boxing Muay Thai, as well as techniques from Free Wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, catch wrestling judo, Russian Sambo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for take downs, throws, locks, and submissions.
As we don’t use kimonos or Gi’s in our training, our grading is based on the rash guards colors
Our fighting system has 3 major categories!
The first category is a striking system which allows the use of striking, clinching and throws without the use of the hip in amateur semiprofessional and professional competitions
Amateur competitions require a full body protection; semiprofessional requires shin guards only and professional competitions require official gloves from the organization
The first category is a mixed martial arts system, which allows the use of striking and grappling in both amateur and professional competitions.
Amateur competition allows the use of striking on the stand-up game and allows only grappling techniques on the floor in professional competitions the use of striking and grappling is permitted standing as well as on the ground.
The Second category is a no Gi grappling competition which also consists of professional and amateur fights
Amateur fights are 3 rounds of 3 minutes with a scoring system, positions takedowns, advantages and submissions.
The Professional division consists of a 15 minutes grappling around in which the first 7 minutes do not get scored and a win is possible only through submission, after the first 7 minutes a score system.
